Summary
The Gauteng Department of Education is looking for
Cleaners
-Directorate: Auxiliary Services and Fleet
Management
-Head Office, jhb

Duties
And Responsibilities
•Clean offices, corridors, elevators and boardrooms.
•Dust and Mop office furniture. Sweep, Scrub and
polish the floors.
•Vacuum and shampoo floors. Clean walls, windows and
doors. •Empty and clean dirt bins. •Collect and remove waste papers.
•Freshen the office areas. Clean Refill hand wash
liquid soap. •Replace toilet papers, hand towels and refreshers.
• Empty and wash waste bins. •General kitchens.
•Clean basins.
•Wash and keep stick of kitchen utensils.
•Keep and maintain cleaning materials and
equipment’s. •Report broken cleaning machines and equipment.
•Clean machines (Microwares, vacuum cleaners etc.)
and equipment after use.
• Request cleaning materials.
Qualifications
And Experience
•ABET/ Grade 10.
•Extensive knowledge and understanding of Batho Pele
principles.
•Verbal and Written communication skills.
•Good interpersonal rations skill. •Ability to work
independently. •Ability to use cleaning equipment and products
