REQUIREMENTS Grade 10, Abet, or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years cleaning experience. Willingness to work shifts and rotate within the areas of cleaning responsibilities and working on weekends and public holidays. Ability to take initiatives and work under pressure. Communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.

Duties

Clean floors, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing and polishing floor surfaces. Clean outside surfaces, dusting, washing and polishing of furniture. Cleaning walls, doors, frames, windows. Cleaning of toilets, bathrooms and sluice rooms. Classifying, handling and collection of general and medical wastes. Maintain personal hygiene, health presentation and practice good hygiene and grooming habits. Perform general cleaning tasks and household in the hospital. Ensure a clean and secure environment for patients and maintenance of all the areas of cleanliness after completing cleaning task. Report faults of cleaning equipment’s and machines to the supervisor. Perform any other assigned responsibilities by the supervisor
