Hotel Waiter/ Waitress

FULL TIME

Key Performance Area:

–Ensure the restaurant’s preparation is thorough and stocks are full before opening and throughout their shifts

-Perform all ordering, serving and billing tasks accurately, accordingly to the restaurant’s standards

-Assist in the management of the well equipped kitchen, strictly adhering to all health and safety regulations, and reporting equipment breakages promptly

-Perform adhoc tasks professionally as requested by restaurant management, including room service, bar tenders and banqueting functions

-Prioritise all aspects of customer service

-Work as part of a team and individually to deliver high quality standards consistently and accurately.


Minimum Requirements:

-Grade 12

-Good verbal and written skills in English, numeracy skills – all NQF level 4

-Computer skills and previous service and/or food preparation experience would be an advantage

-At least 2 years’ experience in similar role
